How are the Tees made?
We operate a Print on Demand set up whereby the tees are printed and made after every order. We use Printful to fulfil our orders due to the better end result & quality for our customers.
What tees do you use?
We use a regular fit unisex organic cotton tee from Stanley/Stella. We've tried a few different tees and settled on a heavyweight 180g/m tee for comfort & quality.
what type of printing do you use?
After much trial and error we have decided on a mix of printing for our tees.
On our white tees we use a Direct to Garment (DTG) print. This is whereby the image is printed directly onto the tee using a water-based ink.
For our black tees however we have decided to use Printful's DTFlex printing option. This is becasue we tested many DTG prints but weren't happy with the results. On darker tees the designs just didn't pop. The DTFlex option gives us the sharp, rich colours our designs deserve. The image is printed onto a film and then applied to the tee.
